Buff Pokémon that are similar in stats and movepool to not be completely outclassed by another

Compare Machamp to Conkeldurr and its clear that Machamp is useless with worse stats and worse moves like bullet punch vs mach punch

Compare something like sandslash and excadrill and its clear there is 0 reason to use sandslash because its a worthless shitmon compared to excadrill

Aside, old Pokemon here or there get small 10-30 or buffs in BST, maybe a new ability or so now since new evolutions and megas are completely off the table.

The old system of having stronger Pokemon in the later parts of the game just doesn't works anymore, and by now it's really obvious what makes a good pokemon.

With that said, they should nerf instead of buff, the game is already a boring 2HKO central made for ADD riddled manchildren.

Here's hoping gen 8 does actual rebalancing like nerfing Ninetails attack and putting it into speed to match its Alolan form.

I will get plenty of people disagreeing with me on this. But I think they need to get a handful of the smogon people, or top players. And get them to give some direct feedback on pokemon and how to buff them.
Most of the time it just comes down to a better move pool.
But some of the older single form pokemon need bigger boosts. Things like Stantler for example, compare the shit show that is it's existence in comparison to pokemon like Heracross.

I think Let's go had snippets of a good idea. You take the hyper training stuff and let certain pokemon get a general power boost to the level of better pokemon.
