Do you bin your starters during your single player games?

I always do after the first play through

Originally I always just starter soloed to get to the postgame ASAP and start grinding battle ready stuff.

In Gen 5 I started using other playthroughs to train battle ready stuff along the way instead of just grinding them out so since then the starters on subsequent playthroughs indeed get boxed outside the rare occasion I do a Nuzlocke or the like.

I've never been in a gen where I dislike all the starters so first playthrough always has one, ideally repeated playthroughs would use other starters but they're never all good. Only in gen 5 is where I box Snivy because I've used it a million times and don't care for the other 2, most recently I used sewaddle as my "starter"

I just find the game boring with the starters, they are too powerful and limit your party choices otherwise
I’d rather play around with some random shitmons at the beginning of the game than the same starter again

I used to, but from black 2 onward I started enjoying adventuring with my starter. If I do multiple playthroughs I usually go with a theme that rarely fits starters.

I only did that once, when I played Crystal. And that's because I already used all 3 starters in Silver, thanks to that one cloning glitch.

If I don't have any challenge ideas in mind for a playthrough I usually just use the starter until I get bored of it and it starts being too OP.

I like to switch pokemon a lot in playthroughs because of how easy it always is to overlevel them and the starter's usually the first to go.

I did in Gen 7. None of those 3 are good. Every other gen has at least 1 line I really like, so I usually just stick with that on subsequent playthroughs.

Gen I&II: Only ones I liked all 3, but I don't play these gens anymore.
Gen III: Torchic, but now I cart over a Fennekin for ORAS.
Gen IV&V: Never used the starters ever. None are appealing.
Gen VI: Fennekin only, everytime.
Gen VII: Popplio, but I'm sick of using it, so bin. Been using an Eevee and giving myself it's Z at that point in the story.

I used to, I think because I started with Yellow and Pikachu was shit so I used to not really care about the whole "partner" thing. I think I started to try to use my starter more in either Emerald or Diamond, although that might just have been because it was easier to keep them around.

Primarina is fun. I picked the owl for my first playthrough because my inner 8 year old thought 'Wow a starter becomes a ghost type!' but then I experienced him and he's underwhelming.

Though it’s only fun when there is a good variety of early-game Pokémon to choose from as a pseudo starter
I kind of hate G/S for this since early game variety is shit outside of Crystal
