>>37603223>intentionally uglyMewtwo. Being a grotesque shade of a far cuter creature is part of its appeal. Compared to the slender, diminutive, cat-like Mew, Mewtwo has a tall figure, two necks, bent ears, a thick muscular tail, limbs that almost appear atrophied, and some weird hardened flesh on its shoulders that almost looks like a piece of armor.
The Regis. Being golems made out of a pile of inanimate matter with dots for a face to make them even more alien in nature despite their humanoid shape is their entire appeal.
Kyurem-White and Kyurem-Black. A union of two separate Pokemon achieved through ancient magi-tech? Looks beyond fucked up, with asymmetry all over the place, the icy qualities of Kyurem jutting out and encasing the 'frame' of the other beast, as it were, with tube-like streams of energy shooting between the turbine tail and wings. Fucking awesome.
Necrozma. A tortured existence through and through, mangled into a body shape completely different from its true form, a brilliant dragon made of bright light.
>what the fuck were they thinking? The Musketeers. A group of quadruped Pokemon based on the protagonists of the Three Musketeers story? Alright, that's a cool enough concept, certainly salvageable. So why do the four Pokemon look almost entirely unrelated to each other, being based on unicorns, rams, deer etc.? Why do their looks not really reflect their typings besides colouration? Why do they have all these details yet some of them don't even look like their horns could fill the part of a 'sword'? Why are they just so generally unappealing despite a clear attempt to the contrary?
