>>37604295Not to say it's a slog by design, but the whole "scenario mode" implies that it basically takes the format of mid level battling and puts it in the context of a story. And yeah the animations are slow but to be honest the actual gameplay more than makes up for it. In terms of difficulty I actually think the two GameCube games are the hardest in the series, which is why it is such a shane that we did not get a console WiiU game, as that would have worked perfectly.
