Here's the condensed story of the owlfags:
>Final evos leak for gen 7 starters>Nearly everybody bandwagons the owl, assuming its going to get the Greninja treatment: High attacking stats, deep movepool, broken HA while leaving nothing for the other two.>Game comes out and is datamined shortly thereafter>Not only does Decidueye not have Greninja stats, he has stats closer to Meganium>Catbros and to a lesser extent sealbros roast owlfags for automatically assuming they won gen 7 since owlfags also relentlessly shat on the other two startersIncineroar ended up being the closet thing to this gens Greninja in the end with a great HA, great stats that mesh perfectly with said HA, and as of the ultra games, a deep movepool. Owlfags have been seething ever since.
