How do we rehabilitate LGPE on this board? It’s obvious most people don’t hate the games even though there are falseflagging spammers.

I wouldn't play this alone, but playing with family or friends makes it tolerable. The only redeeming quality of Let's Go is the multiplayer, but that severely trivializes an already trivialized game. Here's hoping the real mainline games later this year either drop the multiplayer or make it increase the difficulty somehow.
