You know, the Game Boy has no true palette. I have looked closely at the RGB values of the grayscale shades in the "asset" leaks and they match every single fucking bit of those used in RBMap (000/646464/144144144/255255255).

Pokeanalysis uses different RGB values, so that's off the hook. Conclusion is that either ShantyTown had access to the files to help the "leaker" extract them with a special version of RBMap, or, OR:
