Drayano makes great hacks that essentially serve as "new game plus" editions of the official games. So you'll get e.g. B2W2 with all Pokemon up to gen 5 obtainable in game without the need for things like trading, much more challenging difficulty, lots of extra special events for things like legendary hunting, etc. There's also movepool/type/ability/etc changes for some pokemon but those are optional to install if you don't care for them.

From what I remember he has hacks for Emerald, Platinum, HGSS, BW, BW2, and ORAS.

There's yet to be a single good Pokemon fangame or romhack. A fair few are visually appealing, some have technical prowess or good storytelling, and a very small handful are vaguely fun to play, but no game has yet to actually be good. The closest we've gotten are some difficulty mods, which speaks volumes in itself.

The only game like that i've really played is Uranium. It's alright, the game runs like shit, the sprite art is pretty awful, the story is dreadful, and the fakemon are very hit or miss, but there's still a couple of good ideas in there and it's certainly worth playing if you just want to see a fan's take on the series.

Infinite Fusion is a pretty good one. It's basically Fire Red/ Leaf Green except you can fuse any two pokemon with each other.
It's a fun gimmick and it can be funny as fuck sometimes.
