Natures make only 1/25 or 2/25 pokemon useful. The rest cannot be used competitively.
If they wish people starts using their actual games instead of Showdown they need to fix natures the same way they fixed IVs. I don't mean to remove them completely.
But casualfags don't care about the stats nature gives, in fact they don't even know they affect stats, and competitive players usually don't care about 'oohh look how bold this gyarados is'.
