Face it. Gen 8 will be a disappointment. It won't be some kind of open world game. It won't add a shit ton of new Pokemon like gen 5 did. There's no battle frontier. There's no good villain.
I'm losing goddamn hope for the series after the bullshit Masuda said about pandering to kids who don't like playing games long. I love this series but I genuinely think Gen 8 is the make-it or break-it for me.
