I hated Gen 5 when it came, but after a while I realized that it was great, there are some stuff I don't like (starters, some pokemon taking years to evolve, etc), but graphics wise, feature wise, etc was very good, also Unova had a lot of exploring, hiden places, etc.
Aaandd.. weather, loved the season change thing.
