Game Freak don't have the skills or drive to pull something like Kingdom Red/Green off. Up until a couple of years ago they were handheld game developers who couldn't even optimize their own games properly for said handhelds, and now suddenly they're developing the 'biggest open-world video game ever'?

You are a literal retard if you ever believed this pie-in-the-sky shit. You'll get your small tourist trap region with the same 8 Gyms and Pokemon League and some contrived anime story with forced characters, and the only difference will be that the graphics are slightly improved from last time. Game Freak don't WANT to challenge themselves, they complain time and time again bawwww making games is hard :'( They have given up putting in effort anymore when they can just slap a new coat of paint on the same formula and resell it for maximum profit.
