>>37642989If I don't like one stage in a "Just-Gets-Bigger" line then I probably won't like the rest, but if they're all different then I might like one stage and my enjoyment of that stage could rub off on the others giving me three different things to like. If I do like the "Just-Gets-Bigger" line then cool, but it's just more of the same and it's harder to get passionate about one stage in particular because none of them stand out.
More change just means more to love - sure there might be the occasional evolution that rubs me the wrong way compared to their previous one but I'd rather take the risk than just be given the same platter over and over.
