DeSmuME supports Slot-2 emulation, so you can use Pal Park just like it would be on a DS with a GBA cart inserted.

Just make sure that the .sav file is in the same location as .gba

I used this method multiple times and it worked as it should.

No, you have to manually change the species to the desired evolution. It will be the same thing as if you actually traded.

In the pic for example, I just changed a Porygon to a Porygon2.
