The "Pokemon Kingdom" leak is fake simply due to the "every pokemon region" and "largest map in a modern video game".

You have to be borderline retarded to believe the switch could handle a map of THAT size.

I dont have a problem with Open World but ALL japan regions? Wouldn't that like, be empty as fuck? Do you seriously think GameFreak could actually fit enough fun things to do in the game that warrants THAT much free space? The only way it could work if its NOT Open World and instead it could be like any ol Pokémon game but with multiple regions stitched together. Even if it was real the potential of it being an empty wasteland like New Vegas is high.

While I disagree with the whole empty free space, but if it was true, Pokémon would not be the type of game with empty space. You have too many Pokémon, too many legitimate items and too many ways to fill an area.

I am a Zelda fan, and I know that Pokémon has the potential to be a better open world than Zelda.

You realize that 5 of the 7 maps from the previous games come from hardware on par or weaker than the N64 right? The other 2 are from hardware weaker than the GameCube. They don't even push the hardware either. It wouldn't be unreasonable to think that these small ass maps could be put into a single game. For reference, BotW, included 8 regions of Hyrule in it and this was partially held back because they all had to work on the Wii U too along with a complex physics engine. This game is launching exclusively for a more powerful piece of hardware than the Wii U and the devs at Nintendo and Game Freak have had just about 2 years to even further figure out the capabilities of the console past its initial launch. Not to mention that most of the map would be water between the islands which is space that's easily cut down by just making the island regions all relatively close together. Not saying the leak is real but your reasoning for debunking it is more retarded than the leak itself.

You fucking brainlet has zero knowledge about game development, or software development in general. Pokémon regions are small af. The PS2 had 32MB of RAM and got GTA San Andreas working on it. The PS3 had 256MB of RAM and it got GTAV working on it. It's called LOD, streaming, caching and memory management you illiterate faggot.
