It's blind and alone for 50 levels, then it's blind and constantly pursued by a violent enemy for another 14 levels, then it's racing against starvation for the rest of its life. I suspect that its violent behavior is more an act of constant hunger than any sort of active malicious intent. If someone as impossibly retarded as Cameron can train a Hydreigon with no known issues, keeping it from rampaging is probably as simple as keeping it well-fed.
