Other things that were bad
- Free Latios/Latias
- EXP share is overpowered
- Random encounter swarms, even if it's not in most routes.
- Made Aqua Shelly into some brown cunt rather than the perfect redhead.
- Just being on the 3DS instead of Gameboy makes it worse to play.
- Being such a faithful remake makes it a slog to play if you've already been through it ten or twenty times and the only "improvement" is that it's running on the new gen 6 engine.
It's a worse remake of an already sub-par game. It's as if John Gamefreak said "I don't want to make a remake here, but I guess I have to" and just threw it together lazily.
