The regional dex in DP is worse, although I won't go into all the details aside from the ever mentioned only 2 fire types, and cross-gen evos not being in regional dex in DP, nor is rotom.
The level curve is a bit better in Pt.
Cyrus is a better character in Pt, and team galactic in general makes more sense.
Battle Frontier exists instead of the battle tower in DP.
Probably more stuff I can't name off the top of my head. The pauses between text boxes are especially unbearable if you're used to Pt/HGSS.
