Decidueye would be the Blastoise, he's kind of there.
Incineroar is the Charizard, who is the pet favorite.
Primarina is the Venusaur, that everybody hates.
Toucanon will forever be the Pidgeot/beloved bird.
Nobody likes Gumshoos like Raticate.
Vikavolt is Beedrill, he's useful to a point and everyone boxes him because they get new Pokemon.
People love Crabominable thanks to Ash and the League.
Oricorio is the Farfetch'd, everyone wants evolutions but nobody barely remembers it exists.
Rimbombee is the Butterfree, same problem as Beedrill.
Rockruff is the Pikachu/Mascot.

Venusaur is my favorite Pokemon, but you have to admit when it comes to the original starter trio most people (normies, fags, autists, whatever) dislike Venusaur, especially when compared to Charizard and Blastoise.

I'm not sure if that's due to the rest of the world getting Red/Blue rather than Red/Green, the anime (especially in regards to Charizard), or what, but it's the truth.
