DP E4 was overleveled. Platinum balanced it a little bit. Ah well, I was just as fucked as you in FRLG's E4, it seems the game punishes you for keeping your team around the same level.

you're not underlevelled, Gen 4's elite four is just bullshit. your only bet is to grind victory road or trainers with the vs. seeker.

The route between Sunnyshore and the Villa has a lot of good VS seeker rematches, high level wilds, and if you find it useful the double battle café is nearby too. I think it was the best for E4 grinding.

I always use the VS seekers on the gyarados trainers west of sunyshore, with a mono water team that should be no problem for you
