also remember when corocoro had BLURRED IMAGES OF THE BOX ART saying to "come back next month and find out" or some shit like that? That was extra painful

Also I dunno how likely this is, but I hope they don't go TOO crazy with reveals. I know there's a lot of anticipation for the game, but before Sun and Moon came out, I felt like they revealed WAAAY too much during the pre-release season. You know those videos they released during that time that showcased new Pokemon or new stuff? They put out like 19 of them

OP here and big agree, 1 or 2 videos a month, 3 pokemon at most each leading up to release and they can only even get away with that if we have 90+ newmon

How many Pokemon were left completely in the dark (officially) for Sun and Moon, anyway? If I recall correctly, it wasn't very much at all...

I think it was a couple more than these and some UBs but that's it, It really hope they do better with the marketing, maybe a couple more general trailers and focus on other aspects than just new mons. And like I said, with a beefier dex (which I feel like will happen) it could just not be a problem

I expect 91 excluding Mythicals at launch just to hit 900. Gen 7 made it so Necrozma hit 800 then added the Mythicals and UBs

Yeah 120 new pokemon seems pausible since GF said we should expect a lot of new pokemon im sure.

With 120 new pokemon we'll be around the 929 mark.
