Just got into the series. AKA most of the younger fans.
Longtime fan that likes the series the way it is.
Longtime fan that is disappointed by a perceived lack of substantial evolution in gameplay/content.
From a financial perspective, it's easy to see why GF doesn't "need" to cater to the last group if we divide all potential customers along these lines.
But this comes down to whether you think The last group merits their complaints or should look to support the development of a new monster catching game that supersedes the pokemon gameplay.
DQM was never really like pokemon, and Temtem has yet to prove that it can improve on the pokemon formula while fulfilling all the playstyles of pokemon up top this point; it doesn't do enough to get everyone on board.
