True that, anyway have you played through VGC 2019? I've played a lot of VGC 2018 in showdown but haven't touched the 2019 format, it's basically all Xerneas and Kyogre isn't it?

I just got back into it, but it seems like Xerneas, Lunala, Kyogre, and Groudon are ruling the metagame. Orbs and Megas will be legal in April as well.

It's been pretty interesting to see Tsareena and Toxicroak getting use thanks to Xerneas and Kyogre being so prevalent. Makes me wonder what other pokemon often considered lower in fan based tiers could see use in the future.

Also the lack of T-Landrus has been great. Even if we traded one intimidating tiger for another

sadly this. Every gen I say to myself ok now I will start playing pokemon competivly and then I am too lazy to do build a team. But thank god, getting a good team is now easier as ever. So hopefully the switch games will reignite online play.

This is my team I just made yesterday. I haven't played in over a year. Everyone has a 252/252/4 spread right now. What does everyone else run as a check for Xerneas? Stakataka helps but the Nigga can still be annoying.

I haven't played double battles (VGC) since Diamond and Pearl. I did watch competitive gen 6 though. Is 7 any different from 6?

In VGC 2018 it was (Tapus + Landorus-T), now in 2019 with legendaries being allowed it's becoming similar to gen 6's VGC.
