Around 120 new pokemon and a cold/montainous region would be my top wants since im a bit bored of the series lately.

I would also love to have another focus on story like Gen 7, but i'd like the region not suffer for it either.

About cross-gen evolutions, if they come back it will probably be mostly Gen 3 to 7 pokemon since 1 and 2 are mostly done desu.
Mimikyu getting an evo seems pretty likely were it shows it's true form, it probably evolove with a stone or a trade item.
I could see Doublade and Inkay getting a split evolution too.

Just more than 100 Pokemon and get rid of grids/birds eye view. Literally that's the only type of innovation Gamefreak is capable of and it's the only one that even has a sliver of a chance of happening. I wouldn't care if the game was piss easy, just give me that. But I know I won't get that.

A mimikyu friendship evolultion is a MUST. This is my favorite gen 8 wish that I've heard so far.

I want to trash the weird Pokemon Go catching game and bring back battling wild pokemon, but I want to keep wild pokemon appearing out in the overworld. The only part I really liked about LGPE was watching pokemon walking around in Viridian Forest.

These cover the basics of what I want. I'm also hoping for GF to not introduce another battle/design gimmick in Gen 8 only to abandon it come Gen 9. They should focus on what they already have, so hopefully that means a lot of new Megas, some new UBs, and maybe a few regional forms if that doesn't clash with Megas.

afaik lgpe didn´t had this anymore. You had transistion between routes without the door thing.

What I want:
>An actual good online system, like an actual hub where you could chill and do things. Maybe having events etc.

seriously fuck 3ds colors. Even ds lite games seem so off.

dragon quest is known for how safe it plays but it has innovated 20x more than pokemon has, it's pretty ridiculous
if gen 8 still has the same movement system im going to be pretty disappointed, zelda changed and it worked, now its time for pokemon

Decent online modes (be creative, GF! small championship modes, battle-royale or whatever) that make it fun for a casual gameplay against other people without having to grind 100 hours for eggs first. And some way to customize on the fly your EVs / IVs / Nature for Online Battles, once you beaten the game. They could also revive the Secret Base system and make it actually interesting and evolved, the Switch is perfect for that.

We're getting there. SuMo map was the closest we had to this with a semi seamless map. Matter of time and we'll have it

This was one of the things the original BW handled perfectly

Nintendo should just make injection obsolete. It's an open secret that most people in competitive play with hacked pokemon anyway. Add something like the nature mechanic from lgbt and easy ways to manipulate stats
