HOWEVER, I don't think it's either this (which is starting immediately, a/k/a in Winter/Spring), OR the new games (which will most likely come out in Fall, as Pokemon likes to release new gen games in November and they said Gen8 would be "second half" of 2019 anyway), because of one key thing:
-every SINGLE video has specified the Summer. They keep mentioning visiting these places in the Summer. Which hints that whatever this is leading up to, it's something coming out in the Summer. Since the Twitch marathon is Winter/Spring and the gen8 game is Autumn, they're both automatically disqualified.
My guess is it's some weird VR thing that lets you "experience the anime world" by low-budget VR shit.
