>ditch the overly-polarizing cool/strong/feminine dynamic, create monsters with more universal appeal again
>make the designs more animalistic instead of looking like guys in fursuits/bipedal animals with suspiciously specific human professions and accessories tacked on
>let them all stand on equal footing instead of forcing one to be the designated shill that gets special treatment like Charizard/Greninja
