I want to be optimistic.

I actually liked USUM minus the forces story interactions.

If they actually add a way to skip over story segments, kept core battle/capture mechanics, and give us 85+ new Pokemon, I'll be happy.

I don't have much faith in GameFreak.
I'm going to still check it out maybe I'll be wrong, but I heavily doubt it at this point.
I hope we at least get good starter designs gen 8, I think 7 had the weakest set.
At least remove the handholding and I'll buy it

Let's Go Piss sold 10 million

The Japs and 95% of the Pokemon fanbase did not care for it, its a horrible Pokemon game to the point that Nintendo lowered Switch sales because THEY were expecting the Pokemon fanbase to just eat shit up and buy Switches

If they just did a repeat of SM/USUM they'll con a few million to buy a Switch and to buy the new game

I am! I feel like Let's Go was a neccessary evil and that new games will be catered to actual fans and not KAAAAAAAANTOOOOOfags. Hopefully Let's Go contains all of the casualness and we will enter a new golden age for Pokemon. Also crossing my fingers that if we do have cut scenes that they have actual animation instead of just turning the models and idle animations.
