So what specifically exactly are you guys looking to do after you beat a Pokemon game? I'm satisfied with Battlespot, Battletree/breeding/ev training. I see all this talk about "this game's postgame was awful.", but what exactly do you wanna do?

I think just giving us generally more difficult battles to experience with our full party.
Not every trainer needs 6 Pokemon but more than JUST the champion can use 6 mons

Personally I don't really care for postgame, playing with friends after the game is enough to keep me satisfied. What I want is for the main campaign to be more fulfilling so that I'm satisfied when it's over.

Ok, this is a good idea. I like the legendary trainers concept from LGPE, but they could maybe take it a bit further I guess? So when you beat the game there are 100 of these trainers, bit they're hidden all around the region and you may have to solve some puzzle or so to reach them When you beat a certain number of them you get cool items, (think of something like the GB sounds after defeating 20 legendary trainers or something like that.).

Master trainers is a step in the right direction, i'd like online opponents to see "You are challenged by X master", just cut the ridiculous level boost bullshit and make them challenging, probably make them focus on an evolutionary line instead of making us deal with dumb shit like Metapod masters.

I actually enjoy collecing customization items so i'd be happy if they brought secret bases back and there were plenty of updates adding new cosmetics you can get by achieving online victories or defeating challenging NPCs.

Also if Pokémon Go can add things like Blastoises wearing glasses so can Gamefreak, imagine if every now and then we got the chance to catch something like a Scarf wearing Houndour that keeps all that shit when it evolves.

Legit one of my favorite battles in the series is N’s weather battles.
We need more actual themeing like that.
ORAS battle resort trainers were solid they just didn’t need to be lined up one after the other

I want to be able to use my in game team a bit longer, I hate mons that appear towards the end of the game, cuz there's nothing to use them for. But otherwise not much, I care for online and replayability more than post game against AI. That's just my problem with rpgs I guess, there's nothing really satisfying about releveling something after the main story is complete. I love customization options though, so anything like that is cool and can keep me interested in my current save instead of replaying over and over I guess

I think games need like a “final test” for players in order to have a satisfying end. Octopath (pic related) did it well with their final boss that’s actually the super boss that tests basically all your knowledge.
Red accomplishes this fairly well, so does Emerald Steven to a lesser extent.

Eh, not really neither are particularly difficult, especially Red.
What pokemon needs are uncatchable enemies like every other monster tamer so they can make true superbosses.

in emerald you had 6 bagdes for frontier. I wouldn´t mind having pwt ( I don´t need champions, gymn leaders or whatever) it´s cool to have monotype tournaments with a boss.

They can integrate bf into a online hub which can be played offline, that would be reaaaallly really cool

then you're a retard

Go fucking play something like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and other shit like that then, not Pokemon. I want new things, new battle facilities, new minigames, features etc.

The only good part of cartridge Pokemon games is the journey. Once the journey is done, it's just endless breeding and grinding and you will never have the same attachment to the 6IV Shiny that you Masuda Method'd for compared to the random IV shotty started that you got from the Professor.

For that reason the post game should be a New Game+, where you get to start over without deleting your save. All your current Pokemon, items, and achievements are still there, you just can't use them until you beat the game again. The exception being online play, all your Pokemon and items - including ones from older playthroughs - are all available for use online whenever you want, so that replaying the story doesnt impede your ability to participate in online events.
