You can't get any smaller in the current year. Most of the bulk of the Switch is the battery and cooling system.

Also it probably won't get shorter or else they'd have to make 2 types of joycons, which are dependent on the size of the system. Only other option would be to have the controls permanently fixed, but you'd lose a lot of functionality.

They can definitely come up with updated models, but I don't see a much smaller one happening.

Don't listen to this guy. The game is SO fucking boring, shallow, and formulaic. Good music, but that isn't enough to push you through the incredibly boring formulaic story progression system, bad voice acting, uninteresting plots from most of the characters, and a battle system that starts to show its age like halfway through the game.

I finished the chapter 2s of each character and couldn't stand to play any longer.

What does supposed piracy mean? It's literally piracy. Unless you're a moral cuck who is completely against piracy on principle, but Gamefreak hasn't deserved any of my money since gen 5. And I'm happy skipping out on giving nintendo money after they fucked me hard with the wii u.

That being said, even if you are against piracy, that doesn't change the main point of my post. Why haven't you bought one by now if you knew you were going to buy one eventually. At least then you'd be ready and able to play mario odyssey.

I'd say Octopath even outdoes pokemon's shallowness in a lot of regards. Octopath entirely revolves around "enter town, watch cutscene with bad voice acting, talk to NPCs, another cutscene, enter dungeon that takes 3 minutes to walk through, boss fight where you just find the weakness and do chip damage until you unload everything while they are staggered, last cutscene" over and over. You could try B-B-BUT POKEMON TOO! but even the base battle system and progression system of pokemon is more engaging than that shit. And the dungeons in octopath are way more boring than the slightly varying routes of pokemon games.

Sort of. Even as a piratecuck who got all games for free, it would be complete buyers remorse if it wasn't an easy way to play SNES games portably. And some other emulated games. I guess if you didn't have a Wii U it's a worthwhile purchase, but it's the worst port machine I've ever seen.

lovers of classic JRPGs would probably demand more of party interaction, character progression, battle system depth, and dungeons. The dungeons are the worst I can't believe how lazy and basic they are. They seriously make kalos dungeons look like a hardcore dungeon crawler.

There won't be a Switch Mini, because the Toycons are part of the Switch brand.

If Nintendo is doing a cheaper Switch for $200 or less it will have fixed Toycons, a smaller screen with more cheapo plastic parts and garbage sounds.

The reason why people want a better Switch is because the regular one is flimsy as fuck and there are certain parts and features that can be easily improved. Nintendosoys won't mind shelling out $500 for such device alone.
