Starters are shit. Sobble is shit but it's the best looking piece of shit there, Grookey might be better in it's evolutions or turn out equally shitty. Bunnyfags get out. Legendary wolves shouldn't be easy to fuck up and could be really cool, but this is Nu!Gamefreak we're talking about here.

I had such low expectations that I was impressed by the amount of content we saw and how the backgrounds look.
Playable character and starters look poor but I like the aesthetic.

It was exactly what I expected. Sun and Moon in the Let's Go Engine. Im disappointed they put random battles back in, but happy that you can use pokemon to fight random battles again. It's all pretty bland to be honest.

It's overall ok, the starters are meh. Like their designs are waaaay to safe and tame, imo they're not even shit, they're just ok but devoid of personality, aside for Sobble who's a little better on that field.
I think I had more fun getting mad at Turtwig, Oshawott and Popplio than looking at these new starters.

Overal 7/10, more hyped than SUMO or LGPE, but less than XY.

starters are meh. region looks a little interesting even though it's a literal line. I hope the rest of the new pokemon are better, especially curious about the box mascots seeing that the wolves in the logos are identical. also hoping the new gimmick will be interesting

Hyped until the starters.
Then felt a little weird about the names.
Then saw the director and producer.
Then saw the region.
And now I'm seeing that armoured Pokemon could be a thing and it will likely Gen 1 pander.
GAME FREAK has me THIS close to dropping Pokemon altogether and staying on 3ds.

Every day I pray they hand Pokemon to a more competent developer and live off royalties but I'll never get that dream realized it seems
