Gens 1-4 will always have a place in my heart. I refuse to let go until the bitter end. That doesn't mean I have to buy every game or consume every piece of media though. I skipped Gens 6 and 7, but I'll probably try out this one.

The new game looks choppy as fuck (using old engine, washed out textures, limited/linear exploration etc) but I know I'm still going to buy it and bitch about it all the way.
