This ain't it. Home console Pokemon sounds great on paper, but what I saw today was Sun and Moon with a fresh coat of paint. I wasn't expecting BOTW, but I sure wanted more than the same shit in higher resolution.

Every single Pokemon game has been Red and Blue with a new coat of paint. Nothing has changed, and nothing ever will.

All Zelda games followed the same pattern up until BOTW though. BOTW had a newer generation of developers that questioned all of the weird traditions that had been kept for 20 years like Link not being able to jump and what do you know, they ended up with GOTY and the most loved Nintendo game in a long time. I honestly hope Nintendo would just retire Masuda & friends and let the new kids give Pokemon a new life
