This is much closer to that goal. The maps are at a much better scale even better than Sun/Moon and one of the worst parts of sun and moon was the fact that it was 3ds resolution. I'm replaying Kalos right now and the game is good looking and polished and it's making it much better and easier to replay. What are you getting out of being bitter? Just move on

Are people watching the same shit as me? The backgrounds look like fucking blurry ass jpeg images pasted into photoshop over each other. You can even see outlines of the images in some areas.

Just need confirmation of none of the LGPE features being present (and that's looking good so far, with random encounters and wild battles seemingly making a return) and I'm 100% on board, can finally get a switch.
Loving what I'm seeing for now. Not sold on the starters yet, but the final evos era what matter anyway so I'll reserve my judgement till then.
