Nah, I'll be buying a Switch pretty much just for this game. I also want to play Odessey and hopefully there are others i am interested in but don't know of.
That said I havent looked much into the new game other than it being "based on England" and the title which alone has peaked my interest.

What kind of games do you like, anon? If you're opposed to buying a console for just one game, I'm assuming you haven't done that in the past, so therefore there must be other games you like to play. Personally, I've held off on getting a Switch on the off chance of a Dragon Quest XI S bundle because that game is the good shit, but I know I'll be purchasing Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate and Smash Ultimate as well as (probably) one of Sword or Shield.

Haven't felt this feel since the GBA/DS transition. Didn't get one for a few years so I missed out on Gen 4 for a few years. Luckily is was the longest gap between generations at the time.

Same. Still not sold on the Switch to be frank, and Ultra Sun/Moon and Let's go killed any hype I had. If it seems like Gamefreak actually put effort I to these games, then I might ask a friend to play on their Switch since I know they're gaurenteed to get the new games.

I'm sure I'll get at least a second hand Switch someday, but I'm not buying one right now just for a game that doesn't look that was an improvement over SM. Let's wait for the second game and the eventual remakes.
