Okay guys here me out. I have a theory for what Grookey will evolve into. I think Grookey's evolution line will be based on monkeys evolving into early man like creatures.

>It also stores that stick in its hair like a stereotypical caveman style would with a bone
>If pattern holds, this gen the grass starter will be feminine. Conveniently, one of the most famous ape like human ancester ever discovered was a female individual named Lucy. Grookey doesn't have to be a feminine or based on Lucy, but it would fit the pattern if they decide to continue it.
Tl;dr Grookey will evolve into a human like waifu caveman chimp with a club
Also, I know Grookey has a cricket theme and the stick is part of that. A pokemon can have elements of more than one thing in its design.
