For better or worse, Sword and Shield are right now the most important games in Pokemon's history, because right now decides the future of Pokemon as a franchise.

Right now as it looks, let's not be senseless and shit on it relentlessly for just being a Pokemon game, nor should we be lost in hype and blindly praise it.

Despite everything I still love this franchise, and will support it, especially now. And maybe just maybe, if we play our cards right we could be faced with a brighter future.
