Fine, the new games' overworld looks fine, whatever. But what really gets to me is how they're re-using the fucking 3ds battle arena and camera. Why aren't pokemon being properly scaled yet, while a game from fucking 2006 managed to do this and offer a much better experience?

The 1:1 pokemon scaling, the battlegrounds, hell I even dig the narrator. It's all really just great. Why couldn't we just get an upscaled version of this? All would be forgiven if GF just put some goddamn effort in but they absolutely refuse to and it makes me want to shoot Masuda and Ohmori in the head 23 times each.
