We were talking about negativity because YOU brought it up. Literally every post I made here since you said that, I've been clarifying what I meant. Also, I was referring to that thread specifically when I talked about boycotting. Obviously not every bit of negativity is a march against GF
Are you new here? Because this whole site is about shitposting about other's opinions, because by their nature most threads get archived within the first few hours of their existence, meaning what we say hardly matters at all, meaning there's no point to making a sophisticated debate about it. The original idea with this thread was just to gather up the lurkers who just want some more positive discussion/a post that at least somewhat mimics the beliefs they might not want to voice.
I said that they are not legitimate as criticisms. Obviously they are legitimate as opinions, but they aren't based in reason, making them not legitimate criticisms.
And, by saying they're not based in reason, I'm saying they're based off of opinions, which are subjective. Subjective things are not things that need to be fixed, because they're not always "bad." For example, I like the starters, possible linear structure, and the graphics being reminiscent of the 3DS era. Obviously some people can like "bad" things, but that doesn't instantly discredit what I'm saying. Pokemon has existed for decades, and is one of the most profitable franchises ever, so saying simple stuff like all that is "bad" is just purely subjective, and not criticism. Unless a seasoned game developer/character designer comes up and tells me they're "bad," instead of some random guy on the internet, then they are not legitimate criticism.
Is that it? Can this be over now?
