Please watch this trailer. This is the Yokai Watch game for the Switch. This is the type of world people were hoping for, in Gen 8. Don't focus on the battle system. Look at the movement, the space, the opportunity for exploration. This isn't even an open world game. Look at how it feels alive. Something like this but with pokemon would have been so much better IMO.
