How do we fix the meta types?
I say we should make Fairy weak to Fire so Steel and Fairy can fuck off with both having a common weakness and Ice resisting Flying too would be nice.

I think flying could be helped better by removing rock's weakness to fighting or ground. As is, all three of flying's resists are weak to ground, and two are weak to fighting. If ice becomes a flying resist, flying types will just use the fighting moves they were packing anyway.

Fairies commune with nature and are protectors of forests.

It literally resists fewer types than it did before gen 6.
Also, Fairy is fucking busted already so fuck you for wanting it to be neutral or better against everything but Fire and fucking Poison.

And honestly that's all we need really. Fairy and Water nerfed, Bug and Poison buffed.

Let's just use RNG to decide all the weaknesses, resistances and immunities and create a perfect balance.
Who cares if water is weak against fire or bugs have immunity to dragons?

Fairy needs more weaknesses also weaken terrain damage buffs.
That shit is busted boosting damage ontop of nasty effects.
GF already knows this, they added 3 fairy resistant mons in ultra.

Steel just has too many dang resistances. While bug is shit offensively and ice can't can't take a hit.

Just Fairy nowadays, actually. Physical Water-types are the most likely to carry Ice attacks and that’s fairly general. You can actually check out Smogon’s stats and by and far the dragonkiller niche belongs to fairies now.
