How can you say they're the same graphics? Texture Quality looks vastly improved, And also the Worldscape is just bigger.

People are expecting PS4 Level Quality, Which is Lolworthy.
The reason most of the other Switch games seem to look better is because they make Sacrifices in other parts. Any Non-First Party Title doesnt look as good as all the First Party ones.

The overlighting really makes stuff like the grass and her hair look way worse but the trees on the right look better.

Gotta remind my self that gamefreak isn’t exactly a first party company but rather a big indie company.
Still, i wish they had made another engine because this is s/m upscaled and it looks horrendous.
If gen 9 comes to the switch it will look amazing but as it is gen 8 is a disappointment in terms of graphics.

Typically the graphics near the start of the Consoles Lifetime are worse than later on, Its a natural progression of learning the hardware.
Let's GO just used a softer art style so it looks "Good" regardless.

They both are narrow corridors with grass patch and trainers akwardly standing there.
I'm not here to argue about graphics (Gen 8's are sligthly better, which is the minimum you can expect from a console game), but the fact the map-design is the exact same lazy shit is unforgivable.
