we all saw how the trailer emphasized that the pokemon can change their environment due to their abilities; scorbunny setting the gear and grass on fire, sobble putting out the fire but watering the grass as result, and grookey banging a rock...good stuff.

would it be interesting to see the new pokemon professor study how pokemon affect their own environments? it would be an interesting contrast to how in alola, environments made pokemon adapt and now its vice versa. what do you think of the abilities or would the professor study something completely different?
