BW's HUD fit both Health bar and number in the same bubble so there was no need to keep it

In gen 3 and 4, if you press select during a double battle you can toggle between a health bar and to see exactly how much HP you have left
It was removed in BW because by that point they learned how not to waste space and make a nice and efficient HUD
