Why are people giving Gen 8 a chance, again? It's directed by the same fuckfaces who ruined the past two. Will it take getting burned a third time to get you to realize that the main series will never be good again?

Considering LGPE already has a skip cutscene button I think we can expect Gen 8 to be good.

Wait really? So in addition to having a toggle for following Pokemon, you're also allowed to skip cutscenes...

Sword and Shield have supposedly been in development since XY.
I'm cautiously giving them the benefit of the doubt, that maybe gen 6 & 7 sucked because they were putting it toward gen8.

I want to believe, but it's hard. I'm not ready to throw all hope out though. I'm holding out and keeping an open mind.
