XY had an empty map like new games.
We are now in March, I think they have 5 months to finish the development.
XY didn’t had so much dialogs and story, do you think this will happen on sword and shield too?
I count 5 months because in September they usually start to make the copies

Just count 1 september they are 6 month, and August is a vacation months, so they finish in July

It's safe to bet that the trailer's footage was made at the very least a month ago as to give it time to get edited, approved/denied, tweaked, given to the proper channels and all that shit.

Yea that’s what I am saying anon, the region is bigger and there is 5 months left, don’t count August you know why.
So if this fit well then we will have a beautiful region like kalos but a short game

It'll probably be at least ORAS-levels of storytelling. Actually looking at Ohmori's past writing makes me wonder if this game will have a gimmick that will change the map. He really seems to be into alternate realities and alternate timelines. I think the game's gimmick won't be armor evolution (Though I think Mewtwo will get his armor form in the game) but rather a time travel mechanic that can undo an opponent's move once per match with a bit of a LTTP-esque take on it's map where you can shift times and change. The modern-day Galar is a city heavy area, while the past shifts into a less industrialized more wilderness-like area. It really wouldn't take much extra work either just remove the larger towns and shift the terrain like maybe the desert area isn't a desert yet, or the ice mountain isn't melted.

Honestly if every city is around the scale of Luminous the games can potentially have a lot going for them. It's just up to them to put things in those towns to do.
