Some people absolutely will accept and use help, but they're the minority of sad/damaged people. With most of them you can pour in countless hours, years of your life, doing your fucking best to help them, caring so much, and they will just never fucking change and piss it down the drain. I didnt have just one bad relationship that's made me all bitter, a lot of the time it was just aquaintences I tried to help, I spent so much energy on broken and depressed people and all they did was make me depressed as well.
When you are already happy and you know what it is like trying to fix the broken you avoid that shit like the fucking plague. When you yourself are not that happy, you love the idea of people making you happier, you dont even realize it but right now you are an emotional leech. You want to help Sobble become happy because if you can create that fantasy in your head then you can feel like maybe someone will be able to make you happy.
