Yeah but tsuchoko is known for digging. It has a drill on its tail for fucks sake. Drills are associated with Ground type.

May I remind you that Johto had 20 Normal types before Fairy retcons and only 9 Ground types (including Larvitar line which loses it when fully evolved), most of which were only available late-game and post-game?

I agree, they shouldn't have given all pokemon that live in the water water type. They should take more of the same approach as they did with grass or something.

Dunsparce should have been Ground/Poison or Ground/Fairy. Either way the Normal typing is an abomination and always has been. At least it gets STAB Headbutt I guess.

I love this little guy. Wish I could bring him on my mono-Ground teams.
