the game is probably going to be heavily cutscene based again
gamefreak is an echo chamber that ignores criticism
i actually wouldn't be totally surprised if they don't add a way to skip cutscenes, ORAS didn't have one and its not like theyve learned from LGPE since we don't have following pokemon

ORAS were okay in a vacuum. Not great, but okay.
As remakes they were fucking terrible, they went ahead and unironically used the "Ruby and Sapphire remakes, not Emerald :^)" excuse to skimp out on content that absolutely should have been in the games (and I'm not just referring to the Battle Frontier). Thanks to that incredibly retarded decision there now isn't a definitive version of the Hoenn games.

I agree, but they really don't have an excuse for excluding it this time. We know full well that they have the walking and running animations for every single Pokémon up to Gen 7, why the fuck aren't they using them?

Seriously, what is the deal with the pathetic sectioned off areas. What would be so difficult about letting the player walk up that ledge, or skip a fence? Even empty space to move around in still adds immersion, because most of the world is just space to move around in.

Stop taking that fucking garbage mobile game that was LGPE as an exemple, we already told you that's not how we want OW encounters to work.
A well done game with OW encounters (aka not LGPE), would have a large and organoc overworld for Pokemon to dwell in.

Isnt the city at the very top the battle frontier? Look at the lobby entrance and then at the four different facilities. (Parliament, London Eye, Seattle space.... needle?, some kind of funky circus tent)
