Any given indie company of equal size, if given the budget that Gamefreak gets to develop the Pokémon games and existing assets that Gamefreak uses (like the current 6-year-old models of all mons) would be able to make a far superior game within a year's time and nothing you or anybody else can say will convince me otherwise.

In more direct words: I would want them to actually try and make a good game instead of being apathetic.

While vague, it is literally all they need to do.

Graphics are a meme addition. Actual post game, conplete with daily events that make the game worthwhile to come back to. Return of Stadiums or Colosseums. Maybe Battle Frontier to, but no rental facilities, they're the worst. Better online hub, make it a separate building in the world like the GTS or PCC and allow people to make their own rooms like MK8 groups or Smash Arenas but also allow people to connect to them even of the creator is offline. Interactable Safari Zones or Friend Safaris, or just Safaris gained by going against someone or trading. If the switch is capable of streetpass stuff, add in a feature that allows people to distribute and receive eggs with a 1/128 chance of getting a shiny.
These are my hopes, even having one of these things would be great.

Things that most of people want in a pokemon game doesn't even need that much money, just a change of fucking design philosophy.

I dont think any fucking game company can pull this shit straight faced, much less the one that owns 1/3rd of the biggest IP in the world.

Fuck off, 2 aussies in their fucking basement could do a better job then these 151 hacks they have at gamefreak, which is why im more excited for Silksong than SS this year, since i know the former will most likely deliver, while the latter most likely WILL NOT.

Yet they have the guns to become a larger company. It's their own fault for not having expanded enough. Pokemon is such a big IP yet they don't have the skillset to back it up. If they had more manpower they could at least make up for their lackluster abilities. Might as well sell it off to a company that knows what they're doing since they don't have the balls to go big.

Don't worry anon. I feel the same way, but remember: It's not the base forms you have to be concerned about, but the final forms. You gotta hope that at least one of them look cool, and if not, then you gotta hope one of them is bulky enough in their mid-stage to run Eviolite. I have high hopes for Sobble. It looks lame but a chameleon Pokemon has potential to evolve into something neat. Can't say the same about the other two, but I could be wrong.

They have 300 people who worked on Sword and Shield alone, and were capable of so much more in the past during Gen 4. The Warframe team has less people and does a lot more than Gamefreak does. But I'll humor you.
