>>37782254It always cracks me up the lengths they went through to make Giorno Japanese in JoJo part 5, while keeping him related to the other protagonists AND having him live in Italy.
To anyone not acquainted with the series:
>first two protags are British (1st one lives in England, 2nd one lives in NYC)Ok. Not Japanese at all. This is rare for Japanese media and I guess it couldn't be kept this way.
>3rd protag is half Japanese (quarter Brit, quarter Italian) and lives in JapanNot far-fetched, 2nd protag's daughter could marry anyone and it just happened to be a Japanese guy.
>4th protag is half Japanese (half Brit) and lives in Japan2nd protag had an affair with a random Japanese woman. Kinda weird but his daughter lived in Japan and he'd visit her regularly so it's not that far-fetched.
>5th protag is half Japanese (half Brit) and lives in ItalyOk, now it gets ridiculous. The antagonist (Brit) had a child with a Japanese woman (despite no proof that he ever went to Japan) while using the first protag's body (Brit), who later married an Italian guy and moved to Italy, giving her child an Italian name to go with his Japanese name.
No, he couldn't just have had the child with an Italian woman, there had to be Japanese blood in there somewhere.
>6th protag is quarter Japanese (3 quarter mutt)3rd protag's daughter with an American woman, nothing particularly weird.
